Long-lasting. Natural-looking. Life-changing.
Dental implants are the closest thing dentistry has to a natural tooth, and at The Dental Boutique, every implant case is planned, placed, and restored by Dr. Franco, an FICOI-credentialed doctor who handles your care from the first scan to the final restoration.

What are dental implants?
A dental implant is a titanium post placed into the jawbone to replace the root of a missing tooth, topped with a custom crown, bridge, or denture to restore your smile above the gumline. Unlike dentures or bridges, implants preserve the bone beneath them and function like natural teeth. At The Dental Boutique, Dr. Franco handles every phase of implant treatment in-house — from the initial cone-beam CT scan and surgical planning through placement, bone grafting if needed, and final restoration. You work with one doctor throughout the entire process, which means nothing gets lost between providers and your care stays consistent from start to finish.
The benefits of dental implants
Dental implants do more than fill a gap in your smile. They protect the health of your jawbone, preserve the integrity of your surrounding teeth, and give you back the ability to eat, speak, and smile without thinking twice about it.
They look and function like natural teeth
Implants are the only tooth replacement option that replaces both the root and the crown of a missing tooth. The result looks, feels, and functions like the real thing — no removable parts, no dietary restrictions, no self-consciousness.
They protect your jawbone
When a tooth is lost, the bone beneath it begins to deteriorate over time. An implant stimulates the jawbone the same way a natural tooth root does, preserving bone density and preventing the facial changes that often accompany long-term tooth loss.
They protect your surrounding teeth
A missing tooth creates space that neighboring teeth can drift into over time, leading to shifting, misalignment, and uneven wear. An implant fills that space and keeps your surrounding teeth stable.

Our dental implant treatments
Single tooth implants
A single tooth implant replaces one missing tooth with a titanium post and a custom crown, without involving the surrounding healthy teeth. It is the most conservative and most natural-feeling tooth replacement option available for a single missing tooth. Dr. Franco handles every step of single implant cases in-house, from surgical placement through the final crown, using digital imaging and a Medit scanner to plan and execute each case with precision.
Implant-supported bridges
An implant-supported bridge uses two implants as anchors to support a fixed restoration that replaces multiple consecutive missing teeth — without relying on natural teeth for support. This is a strong option for patients missing two or more adjacent teeth who want a fixed, non-removable solution that preserves the surrounding natural teeth and the bone beneath the restoration.
Removable implant-retained dentures
Implant-retained dentures combine the coverage of a full denture with the stability of implant support. A small number of strategically placed implants anchor the denture in place, eliminating the movement and insecurity that comes with traditional removable dentures. Patients who have struggled with conventional dentures often find implant-retained dentures to be a meaningful improvement in both comfort and confidence.
Fixed full-arch implant restorations
For patients who are missing most or all of their teeth in an arch, full-arch implant restorations offer a fixed, long-lasting solution that functions like a complete set of natural teeth. Using a small number of strategically placed implants — typically four to six — Dr. Franco supports a full arch restoration that does not slip, does not require adhesive, and is cared for just like natural teeth. Full-arch cases are among the most complex and most rewarding work performed at The Dental Boutique, and every case is planned in 3D and handled entirely in-house from the first scan to the final restoration.
Bone grafts
A bone graft may be necessary when the jawbone has lost volume or density — often as a result of tooth loss, gum disease, or trauma — and needs to be rebuilt before an implant can be placed. At The Dental Boutique, bone grafts are performed by Dr. Franco in-house as part of a comprehensive implant treatment plan. Not every patient needs a graft, and Dr. Franco will be upfront with you about whether yours is necessary and why.
Sinus lifts
A sinus lift is a specific type of bone graft that adds bone volume to the upper jaw in the area of the back teeth, where the sinus cavity can sometimes limit the amount of available bone for implant placement. Like bone grafts, sinus lifts are performed by Dr. Franco as part of an in-house implant plan when the anatomy of the upper jaw requires it. He will explain clearly whether this procedure is part of your treatment and what to expect.

The dental implant process
Consultation and 3D imaging
Every implant case at The Dental Boutique begins with a thorough consultation and a cone-beam CT scan. The CBCT gives Dr. Franco a complete three-dimensional picture of your jawbone, anatomy, and available bone volume — the information needed to plan your case accurately before surgery. He reviews the imaging with you, explains what he sees, and walks you through his recommended treatment plan and what it will cost before anything is scheduled.
Implant placement
On the day of surgery, Dr. Franco places the titanium implant post into the jawbone. The procedure is performed under local anesthesia, and sedation options are available for patients who want additional comfort. Most patients are surprised by how manageable the experience is. After placement, a healing period is needed to allow the implant to integrate with the surrounding bone before the final restoration is attached.
Healing and integration
Over the weeks following surgery, the implant fuses with the jawbone in a process called osseointegration. This is what gives an implant its stability and long-term strength. Dr. Franco monitors your healing throughout this period and will let you know when the implant is ready for the next phase.
Final restoration
Once the implant has fully integrated, Dr. Franco attaches the final crown, bridge, or other restoration. The restoration is custom-made to match the shape, size, and shade of your natural teeth, and is designed to function exactly like the tooth it is replacing. Before you leave, Dr. Franco reviews your bite and makes any adjustments needed to ensure everything feels right.

Most adults with good general health and adequate bone volume are candidates for dental implants. Certain conditions — including uncontrolled diabetes, active gum disease, or insufficient bone — may need to be addressed before implant placement can proceed. The best way to find out if implants are right for you is to come in for a consultation. Dr. Franco will review your imaging, assess your oral health, and give you an honest answer.
The procedure itself is performed under local anesthesia, so most patients feel pressure but not pain during placement. Sedation options are also available for patients who want to be more comfortable throughout. Some soreness and swelling in the days following surgery is normal and manageable with over-the-counter pain relief in most cases. Dr. Franco will give you clear post-operative instructions and is available if you have concerns during recovery.
The timeline varies depending on the complexity of your case. A straightforward single implant — without the need for bone grafting — typically involves a healing period of about three months minimum before we can begin placing the restoration.
More complex cases, including those requiring bone grafts or full-arch treatment, may take longer. Dr. Franco will give you a realistic timeline during your consultation so you know what to expect from the beginning.
